Welcome to my blog - Banana Pancake Music - where I’ll be documenting and sharing my journey through musical production.

I want to use this blog as a tool for a number of different things:

I want to work on my writing

I’ve always wanted to work on my writing, something I’ve always enjoyed and didn’t mind in school but have never really created a place for me to consistently do that.

I want to document what I’m learning for both my reference and to help others

I noticed I’ve been writing a lot of notes and such in my notebook. While this is great I’d really like a place that I can quickly search something I’ve already spent the time looking up. Hopefully when I’ve built up some posts there will be something useful for others as well.

To give back to the musical community

From my limited and short interaction within the community, everyone seems to be incredibly nice, supportive and helpful. I’d like to be more involved in that.

Anything that I learn from the start of this journey onwards that I think is worth sharing will be the main focus for the posts. Anything that I find cool, interesting or helpful to myself and hopefully in turn others. Also for example, things I’ve perhaps been getting wrong or not concentrating enough on so perhaps you the reader can avoid some of the same pitfalls.
